Regulus

For no reason other than his own ego, Regulus views himself as someone of the aristrocracy. Whatever money comes into his possession is quickly spent on buying fancy clothes or jewels to increase his already good looks. He places himself within areas that the born aristrocracy frequent, chatting and gossiping with the best of them. And, because he's done such a fine job looking the part, none of them suspect him for being false.

He's always been self-confident, to the point of being arrogant. One of those dragons that others sneer at as they state, 'He thinks the world owes him something.' Regulus would agree with them, but only in a more abstract way. For him, decadence and lavishness is just a way to live life to its fullest, and considering he's living, of course he wants the best from life. Why should he suffer through hardships when he doesn't have to?

Miraculously, life has been kind to him. The odd jobs he's worked haven't broken his back, and cruelty of others hasn't broken his spirits. It's because of this he has such a positive outlook on everything. Overly optimistic in what he wants to achieve, and what he can do, he often comes across as cocky.

When things don't go his way is when his pamperedness comes to the forefront. Pouting and foot stomping aren't too low for him to use, resembling a child even though he's grown. Snippy remarks are his next tactic, sometimes guilt-tripping. He never gets violent, however, staying on the docile side of tantrums. When faced with violence, he'd sooner flee.

His confidence was only boosted by a chance encounter with another Skydancer. An odd fellow that one was. He introduced himself as Malik, immediately complimenting Regulus on the redness of his scales. The sinister glint in Malik's eyes, at first, made him cautious to be speaking with him. However, the more Malik went on about the confidence he'd seen Regulus exhibit so far at the party, the more Regulus let his guard down.

Nothing more than a conversation occured between them, but Malik's encouragement that night stuck with Regulus. He was told to keep his desire for the best, to expect it, and such was advice Regulus was more than willing to take.
