As rugged as her looks, Thell is a warrior through and through. Her life has been a whirlwind of danger and excitement, her early days spent as a raider on ships off the coast of the Scarred Wasteland, she spent several years raising a young and abandoned bogsneak son, who grew to become a proud boat builder in the Wind territories. Although Thell never thought her time on the water would end, she found herself called elsewhere and ended up working as a caravan guard and fighter for a small clan in the Shifting Expanse called Dust Bleak. Although she is nowhere near as restless as some, her nature eventually demands her life be given a healthy dose of chaos occasionally. Her life as a guard was stable and paid well, her friends were dear and fights were never too far away with rivals in the desert, but after so many seasons it was time for her to move on once again.

Unlike the times before, she has no real destination in mind. It is somewhat unlike her to travel so recklessly and without forethought, perhaps it was her confidence in her experience and abilities that let her discard her old travel anxieties. She is sure that in time she will find another clan where her skills will be of use, and where new adventure awaits her.
