I am not afraid to walk this world alone...
Chemical came into the world as a dark dragon born into an Ice clan - his cold demeanor is fitting for his Flight. Although he can come off as emotionless at times, he certainly has many hidden emotions under his belt. He often quotes song lyrics, and is overall tends to be very moody and irritable. His parents put him up for adoption not long after he hatched, so he never really had time to fully find his place in his original clan.

The reasoning behind his parents abandonment of him is unknown. However, although Chemical tends to snap if the subject is ever brought up, another dragon in the clan {insert later} has had visions relating to his family. She/He knows its because they both had severe issues within their clan, and knew they couldn't afford another mouth to feed. It was with heavy hearts they let their son go, but they did it with good intentions. What the chronicler can't understand is why they abandoned him on the streets, instead of taking him to a homeless shelter - or even exalting him. They believe that would have been less cruel.

Chemical was discovered by Memory when he was fifteen in human years. She couldn't leave him alone within the city, she didn't have the heart to. Although he acts like he hates the Light Flight, the rest of the clan thinks it does some good for him. After all, he needs something to fill the void in his soul, right? His favorite thing to do is sit alone on the clan cliff edge, looking up at the stars at night... wondering why his parents didn't originally want him.
