Shar lived a happy life in her former clan before having to bring Shiveer to their new clan a newly founded wind oriented clan called Cloudclan. Arriving in the clan she met a guardian named Daedalus, who was a genius in repairing broken equipment for the clan and she quickly fell in the love with the him. Getting to know him and becoming his mate was the best thing that happened to her but when he died something in her changed she snapped back, commented twice as fast as she became really sassy but really it was a way to hide the pain of losing her mate. She had become Rune's main adviser before his death, and know Shar is the adviser for Shiveer kindly guiding her on how to lead the clan.

Some days you can find her standing in front her old nest crying and some dragons swear they can see her old mate's ghost standing beside her. Every night she goes to the highest hill in the clan's territory and sings her sorrows out and usually ends her song with, "If you still breathing then you’re the lucky ones"



The death of Her mate

The sun was at its peak as the dragons of Cloudclan assembled for a meeting called by Prism. They watched as the Tundra made her way to the top with her apprentice, Rune, in tow. Reaching the top she called out to the members, "As you know I have been training Rune to be our leader." drifting her tail over to Rune she pointed to him, "The day has come for me to step down. Rune, step forward." moving aside she allowed the young pearlcatcher to stand beside her as she called out once more "Rune, do you promise to care for the clan taking care of it as best as you seem fit?" Rune dipped his head and said loud enough to be heard "Yes Prism, I am. Thank you for teaching me." lifting his head he nuzzled her as a sign of respect "Very Well." she said reaching a talon to the pile of ashes that was brought to her she coated a claw in ash reaching up to his forehead she drew on the clan symbol, a cloud seemingly being blown by the winds. The tundra turned back to face the crowd "Everyone meet Rune our new leader!" she cheered as many dragon a roared out their approval of her choice.

2 moons later

Rune called out for a meeting with his head advisor, Shar, behind him. They went to the highhill waiting for all dragons to arrive they both sat as Shar turned her head to him, "Rune are you sure about this?" She asked as he nodded "Yes, Shar I'm quite sure." He replied his voice turning annoyed as Shar's eyes widened and turned sad "Rune please change your mind about who you want to send. My mate’s in that list. Please, Rune please." Her voice pleading him to change his mind. Rune turned his head to see everyone had gathered "It's too late for that Shar, I’m sorry. I truly am." he said. Ducking her head the skydancer choked back a sob “If you were sorry you wouldn't have added him in the first place" standing up she spread her wings and soared down to the crowd to stand beside her mate "Good Morning, love" she said her voice cracking a bit and nuzzled him "Shar, what's wrong?" he asked his eyes wide and concerned. He wrapped a wing around her as she ducked her head. "I-It's nothing, Deadalus." She said moving closer to her mate as she began to listen to Rune. "Dragons of CloudClan, a new era has began with me as your leader!" He called out "And that means the clan needs to be cleansed of dragons so new opportunities appear." Many shocked gasps and mourners spread the crowd and Rune slammed his tail down on the ground for everyone to be quiet. "I know you all may be surprised at this, BUT I have chosen a list of dragons to be sent to our deity!" spreading his wings out "A new era can begin".

Shar cried silently as names were being called out as she heard Rune call out the one name she dreaded "Daedalus, you have been chosen to serve our deity." Shocked, the guardian stepped forward and faced Shar. "Shar, did you know?" He asked as Shar rushed to him and twined their tails together and cried out "Yes, my love, but I tried to change his mind he wouldn't listen." Tears streaked down her face as she felt a talon wipe them off and looked up to see her mate looking at her fondly. "I will miss you and I promise I won’t take another mate no one could measure up to you, Shar." He said and Shar cried out again, tears began to flow once more "I-I promise as well, I will never take another mate again." Releasing their tails she watched in agony and Deadalus stepped onto the exaltation pad and watched as his form began to disappear "Goodbye, my love." she cried as a loud cracking noise rippled through the area and the pained roar of Daedalus came soon after "D-Daedalus!?" she cried and rushed over to the pad. "Shar, no I wouldn't-" Rune cried out but his voice was drowned out with the heartbroken roar of Shar and the smoke cleared the clan saw the skydancer collapse in front of Deadalus's dead body and gave another heartbroken wail and whipped her head to Rune "YOU." she snarled "You wanted to get rid of my mate and it killed him." Her voice turned to a shriek "YOU KILLED HIM. YOU KILLED MY MATE." Shar crouched down next to Deadalus’s lifeless body, she pressed her head to his once more murmuring a final goodbye. With another glare at Rune, she took off to head towards a far part of the clan’s territory. Landing down she collapsed onto the ground crying out she let out another heartbroken cry and sobbed out "W-Why did you have to die, I w-would of came after you if you hadn't." turning her head up to the sky she softly began to sing.

The return of Daedalus
Oh, I built a world around you
Shar sits happily looking over a nest along side Daedalus
Oh, you had me in a dream,
The two dragons hug each other happily
I lived in every word you said
Shar smiles as they return to the main part of camp with their hatchlings
The stars had aligned
Rune shows Shar the list and she see’s Daedalus's name
I thought that I found you
Shar watches Daedalus stepping onto the exaltation pad
And I don't wanna love somebody else
A flash of light and then a close up of Daedalus’s body
Oh, we left it all unspoken
Shar crying as they bury Daedalus
Oh, we buried it alive
Shar turning away, eyes dark
And now it's screaming in my head
Century looking down at Shar, sadly

Daedalus’s ghost around Shar as she stands on a cliff edge

Centuries Ghost comes behind Daedalus and whispers something to him
And one day we could start again
Shar is left alone as Daedalus’s ghost heads off with Century
Well I don't care if loneliness kills me
Shar cries this out into the sky, tears streaming from her eyes
I don't wanna love somebody else
Daedalus manifests into a hatchling and starts walking towards his old home

Oh, I thought that I could change you
Shar is still on the cliff. She’s been there for an unknown amount of time but it’s been a while.
Oh, I thought that we would be the greatest story that I tell
Daedalus steps over a hilltop behind Shar but she doesn’t notice
I know that it's time to tell you it's over
Shar says this, turning to leave, but see’s Daedalus and runs towards him
But I don't wanna love somebody else
The two hug each other crying with joy as everything fades out.
