"Ok Grymble, listen up. I had an awesome idea for a prank. Why don't we take Tekla's forging tongs, and replace it with Minty's meat tongs? Oh dont worry. We can replace Minty's tongs no problem."

Midnight is one of the few dragons in The Secrets that actually lives up to the Shadow stereotype of Shadow dragons being pranksters. This doesn't always sit well with the other members, and while her pranks are usually harmless, they can get a bit out of hand, enough for her to nearly be evicted from the clan once, for a prank she'd rather not talk about.

Midnight is very friendly, and loves to joke around. More than that, she loves to prank. She always gets a good laugh from scaring someone with a fake spider, or having one of their objects misplaced. She often works together with the Moth Twins to pull pranks, giving them the ideas. She also work very closely with Grymble, helping him to prank Tekla. The two are like best friends, although what no one knows is that Midnight wants to be more. She loves to have fun with the hatchlings, casting scary shadows with her tail lantern to spook them, before jumping out with a mask on. It's always in good humour though, and she actually gets along very well with the hatchlings. She takes them on night tours around the surrounding forest, and the hatchlings enjoy every minute of it.

She is often used as a storyteller for the clan, as she comes up with fantastic stories, that sometimes rival Vivian's. She prefers to tell the hatchling's stories, but has worked with Vivian a few times to help create a masterpiece for the whole clan to enjoy.

Her familiar is a Wendigo named Jack. Jack is also very friendly, and also loves to pull pranks. He sheds hair often, and gives it to Midnight to make a scary mask out of to bring the next bout of terror to the clan.

She is rather mediocre at battles, preferring to look after the hatchlings instead. If she needs to fight, she tries to blind them with Shadowfog, directing it straight at their eyes. She then slams herself into their legs, so they are immobilized. She never kills, always letting someone else do it. She hates killing things.
