Steel is insane.
Her idea of fun is to taunt the undead gatekeepers and see how close she can come to getting bit before they hit the end of their chains. She's never been bitten by them, but it's assumed her constant close proximity to them is the cause of her own rotting appearance.
Her actual given job is to man the gates to the clans territory during the night, with her heat sensitive vision nothing approaches without her knowledge.
