6536.png Kirous was a typical spiral- spontaneous, high-spirited, energetic. He did not understand the chills he had at night, and only snuggled in a heap next to his parents, and did not question why his mother's feathers felt like ice. He spent his days beneath the canopy of trees as his parents had told him, digging a nest within an old oak and speaking of the stars beyond the canopy. He did not understand why his siblings itched to free themselves from the sanctuary, but Kirous was content.
He began to have dreams of a world which he'd never known. It was blanketed in white, and the wind stung his scales. He heard a voice call out to him, low and rumbling, calling him to this mysterious place, that this was his true home. And these dreams became more and more frequent, as did the chills [name] had when he awoke. Suddenly, he felt a yearning to leave all that he'd ever known, and search for this mysterious place. He finally began to understand his siblings' urges. 2947.png
154.png Kirous set out to find the place of his dreams, and the voice guided him south of the verdant sanctuary which he'd called home for so long. The chill only grew, and soon he began to feel hungry, starving no matter what he ate. Afraid, he tried to turn back. His body grew violent against his will, and his thoughts turned to the consumption of something bigger than insects. Bigger than meat. Dragons. Horrified by this urge, Kirous sought sanctuary wherever he could, witches who could remove the affliction, anything to help. He hopes that he will be remembered kindly, as a dragon who tried.
