Best friends with Spectrum
Asham is the night walker for his clan; making sure everything's in order, that no dragonets are wandering off into the darkness, that the ice is stable, the snowpack safe. On first meeting, he's hard to get to know- he's as spiky as the armor he wears. But catch him off duty, or bring him a new book, and eventually he'll open up and happily discuss nearly anything under the sun with you. He particularly likes sprawling tales of adventure and longwinded philosophy, and has been known to stash a small novel or two in and around his armor. It's not the best padding, but it's better than getting stuck with nothing to read. Plus, now that his little shadow buddy seems to have adopted him, he's always got just enough light.
