He had remained unnamed and unloved for so long. So many of his brothers and sisters, themselves nameless, had left to serve whichever deity they thought would bring them happiness. And so he wandered Sornieth, aimless, and finally, with no hope left, and hearing about a great battle being fought, he travelled to the Windswept plateau only to find out that he was too late, the battle was over. The pair of Snappers he had crossed paths with were journeying back to their lair from the fight. Tabitha complimented him on his beautiful tiger stripes, because she absolutely loved any shad of purple. Coco seemed to understand that he had been through such difficult times. And they both were horrified to learn that no one had ever even given him a name. After a short discussion, he agreed that he liked the name Lodel the best and agreed to go with them back to their lair. He didn't think that Snappers would eat a Fae. Somehow he trusted these two. He even started to think that they may be his first friends.
