Kiku
Alliance: Kiku's Band

Avrix's favorite daughter, and also the only dragon to break his heart.

Kiku came to Avrix's clan as a hatchling, seeking instruction in the ways of the world. Avrix took her under his wing, teaching her everything he knew--by his own admission, not all there was to learn in the world, but a damned good start. She learned the ways of mirrors, the ways of clanlife, and many other skills from Avrix and her other clanmates. She met Shade, a guardian who feared exaltation and fixated on her as his ward. She took him as a mate to further bind him to her.

And then, when she had learned everything she could from Avrix and his clan, she kicked dirt in his eyes and struck out on her own.

Kiku currently wanders from place to place with her mate Sorrel, her guardian companion Shade, and the two children she bore with Shade. She exploits the three guardians' inherent, blood-borne loyalty ruthlessly, though she doesn't directly abuse them in any way. She certainly doesn't care for Shade as much as she used to put on, but she does have some genuine affection for him and her children, as well as earnest appreciation of their skills. As for Sorrel, she loves him dearly--she doesn't, however, consider him indispensable or irreplaceable. Trinkets and jewels are her favorite items to hoard, and she's in constant search of them--as well as knowledge; she's a glutton for that.
