General:

Virus is the clan's scientist, a genius of the plant studies, a botanist. She has studied the nature her whole life. She might have never gone that career path if it wasn't for an incident that took place in her early childhood.

Virella Den Lerdill tend to have a good appetite and she basically ate everything that came across, from meat to insects, from sweet to soar. And she ate a lot, more than a grown up Imperial.. perhaps a bit exaggerated, but she did indeed had a great appetite.
Once she happened to eat something that she shouldn't have. And she regretted it instantly. She was walking in a deep deep forest when she found a infrequent mushroom called Venenare Fungus. She didn't hesitate to flip it into her mouth and it was delicious. Unfortunately the dapple mushroom only made her feel sick, her belly hurt like crazy and she just had to lay down among twigs. Soon she fortunately could walk and fly again, so she went back home where other dragons were surprised seeing her like that, her skin was transformed into toxin color and she looked really ill. Anon she found out that her sense of taste was gone and the skin's pattern was permanent.

A sorrowful period last for couple of weeks, she couldn't enjoy of her meals anymore because she didn't taste a thing. And the healer, who tried to help her with different potions, got poisoned soon after touching her skin. The healer said that she has plainly strong stomach and that he couldn't find any working potion on her. Other dragons renamed Virella Den Lerdill to Virus, so everybody would remember to stay away from her, which was though obvious since she looked toxic already. Virus wanted to heal herself, she didn't yet know how, but she started to search for a cure and became a scientific chemist. Eventually she found a plant which made her to taste strong flavors and that was better than nothing. She has learned much, but still hasn't found a total cure for herself. Maybe there is none.

Apart from eating, Virus now enjoys horror literature, and doesn't read anything else. She doesn't get spooked easily, unnatural things fascinate her. She also hosts horror movie nights at her place, she laughs at the scenes others scream. Black humor is her favorite kind, some may find her jokes inappropriate.

Gumgum, the Conjoined Skink, is a rapid little fella. Fast in his moves, he swirls around Virus like a tornado. Having a pair of heads is very beneficial indeed, his eyesight is excellent, but his other senses are rather poor, he hears unwell and can smell nothing. Gumgum enjoys spending time at the laboratory with Virus, there's so many interesting things to explore. He's very curious and fearless, just the kind of a lab partner Virus needs.
