Just like the wind gently spreads the fragrances and the sounds are resonated through it, these dragons were gifted with the ability to perceive something else in the air: the feelings of other dragons. They can "hear" the emotions of others, even from long distances, and they decided to call these impressions "wind echoes".

Their innate nature encourages them to travel, but differently from other dragons from the flight who also share this urge, they know why they want to do it. Sometimes they heard an emotion so strong they feel like they need to meet the dragon they heard it from, even if they resides at the most distant domain. The way they present themselves to this dragon varies from their colours but it's undeniable that they tend to form strong bonds with those they wanted to meet because they don't stop until they feel that they understand why they were having that emotion.

After finding a lair where they truly feel at home, they stop listening to these callings for a short time as they realize they can train their instinct in order to understand better the dragons they truthfully care about.

However, when festivals arise in all their splendour all around Sornieth, they hear so many cries of joy from those regions that they cannot refrain themselves from going there at least for a few days. They usually feel rather surprised to see other echo linkers there even when it was obvious they were attracted the same way they were. As a tradition though, they hold little festivals among other echo linkers when they meet.

Breed: Spirals (Others with restrictions)
Genes: Iridescent, Toxin, Thylacine
Primary: Maize, White.
Secondary: Swamp, Avocado, Green.
Tertiary: Emerald, Jungle, Forest.

To be considered an official echo linker: At least one of the parents needs to have the colours of the subspecies (one of them must also has the correct genes).

To be other breed aside spirals: They must born during the festival related to where those breeds originated. E.g. A tundra will be considered an official echo linker if they're born during the crystalline gala period, a Wildclaw will considered as official during Greenskeeper Gathering and so on.

Personality traits:

Primary colour

White: They prefer to confront their instincts in a more secretive way. To them, it is better to remain hidden from others and listen instead of facing openly what the others have to say. If discovered, they treat their gift as something they would only share with dragons they find trustworthy.

Maize: These dragons are more open minded. They aren't sharing their gift to all and sundry but they tend to trust others more rapidly. Besides, they don't mind if other dragons learn more about their origins as echo linkers.

Secondary colour

Swamp: They listen with more frequency emotions related to "sadness": suffering, sorrow, disappointment, shame, regret, remorse, rejection, insecurity...
Avocado: They listen with more frequency emotions related to "fear" and "anger": terror, panic, anxiety, exasperation, frustration, rage, envy...
Green: They listen with more frequency emotions related to "joy" and "love": Amusement, bliss, cheerfulness, enthusiasm, pleasure, hope, optimism, adoration, affection, love, fondness...

Tertiary colour

Emerald: They face others feelings in a more direct way. They are frank about what they think; they prefer to go on and on.

Jungle: They face others feelings in a more aggressive way. Of course that they care about others, but they usually don't know how to deal with others feelings without getting nervous themselves. They are bit more taciturn.

Forest: They face others feelings in a more relaxed way. They are not in a hurry, they think it's wiser to treat the emotions of others slower.

Swamp: They face others more casually. They are like the black sheep of the family. They travel around because they are truly curious but that's all. They prefer to please themselves and don't care a lot about the others.

Avocado: They face others with a lot of caution. They think a lot before speaking about something other dragons might have trouble wording. Especially before speaking about something personal to the other dragons, as these may think they are sticking their noses without truly knowing what's really happening.

Green: They face others arguing and questioning others, so they reach a sometimes rushed, but firm resolution.
