Flare

The ashes finally settled allowing the two parents to view their egg, adorned with golden gems and ash. Of course, it was only common for dragons to love fire and all things associated with it. As the young hatchling Flare, slowly began the long road down to growth of a formidable Coatl willing to protect his family’s village against any and all intruders a small fascination stirred for a single place his parents would take him to on the harshest winter nights. A searing volcano that was only a day’s flight away from the village they lived, the flames had always enticed him. Even growing into adolescence, Flare was at his calmest and his most content grazing by the heat. He even developed a natural resistance to fire with the lifetime exposure to the flames along with the embers that rained down. The village had grown concerned for his engrossment of the volcano. His friends would join him by the flames on occasion Flare enjoyed it just as much whether in solitude or companionship. At one significant day, Flare had unknowingly roared and opened up a gate to the hidden lair of a group thought to be no longer active only living on in the pages of legend; It was the lair of the Ember Guardians. The roar Flare had used was a legendary roar only useable by the leader. It was called the Roar Of The Legends, where not only would the deceased leaders of the guardians roar with him but massively amplify his fire breath to be able to create more dominance. The breath also had a unique ability... The ashes that remained from the breath grew into beautiful gardens and forests, providing fertile lands for all. In the present day... Flare lurks in his fortress of solitude that is the lair, still searching for the perfect members for the Guardians.
