Not a clan dragon

Wicked was named for a fictional creature in a fictional world. A creature that call themselves "human"... on a planet where gods did not co-exist with their subjects. On a floating rock where deities didn't even exist! Wicked never particularly enjoyed her name. Her namesake used two simple words shoved together to become a word. It sounded dull. Why shove two plain words together when one could just smash sounds together and call it a name? Wicked preferred the more gutteral names of her former clanmates.

But alas, Wicked could not have decided her name from her egg. So her parents did instead. At least she didn't have to follow her namesake's full name: "WickedHorror." The thought made her shudder. Still, it didn't seem a name fitting for her. Wicked was not evil or mean like many often believed before getting to know her. And deities forbid that if she met someone while she was in a mood, they'd believe her name was perfect no matter now kind she was to them after the fact.

Wicked dealt with her name. Many clanmates had suggested that she just change her name. But she couldn't. It was a name given to her by her parents. She was somewhere in the middle of over a dozen children. Gifts weren't a thing that was often given between her family. But her name? Wicked? It was given to her. And only her. She loved it. She treasured it, especially after her father passed away and her mother became withdrawn. It brought back memories of her and her siblings... ones that she held near and dear as they began to grow up, move on, and pass away. Wicked's name was her's and her's alone. She will always wish that her name was more daring or original, but she has resolved to never give way to temptation and change it.

Even after losing what she cares about most, and growing apart from those she hasn't lost, Wicked is still true to herself. And that self is a complete and utter punk rock princess \m/
