Valkyrie is a cold, calculating creature that would appear to be completely emotionless to those that first meet her. And after you get to know her...she still seems to be a cold, distance dragon. Hailing from the very coldest regions of the Southern Icefield where she lived alone and clanless for most of her life, Valkyrie was found by a few members of the clan while they were on a mission to retrieve a missing artifact. She agreed to help them find what they were looking for on the condition that they take her back with them. She won't say why she wanted to go with them, and perhaps even she doesn't know.

While not intentionally cruel, Valkyrie's logical manner and tendency to over analyze situations in a detached and emotionless way can lead her to conclusions that could be interpreted as such, though she would argue that she can ask the hard questions and make the difficult decisions that others wouldn't even comprehend. But despite her emotionless exterior, she has on occasion also exhibited an odd, sort of dry sarcastic humor. And while she might seem distant and detached, those who do know her as well as anyone could would never doubt her courage and loyalty to the clan.


Valkyrie was the first Ice dragon to join, and represents the ice element on the clan council. In addition she also head the shadier dealings of the clan, responsible for the spies, scouts and agents. Luckily her specialty does not need to be used often...so she says.

The methods she advocates for are often controversial, and as they involve secretive and underhanded techniques she often butts heads with Celduin. Despite this they do have great respect for one another, even if they almost never agree.
