"It means no worries
For the rest of your daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaays!
It's our problem-freeeeeeeeeee
Philosophyyyyyyyyyyyyy
Hakuna matataaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"

Clan Role:
Protector of the injured when under attack

Hakuna has taken the injured, weak, and defenseless of the clan as his charge. He doesn’t have direct responsibility of the patients and the young or defenseless under normal conditions; rather, it is his duty to guard these in times when the clan is under attack. Otonashi Yuzuru is the clan’s doctor and the primary caretaker of the ill, who treats members and those in need for their ailments and injuries. Hakuna will stand guard and help defend any sick bay patients, young children, or those unable to defend themselves if an antagonistic force presents itself. During such times of crisis, those unable to fight will be alerted and moved to the sick bay, which is kept in the most heavily fortified and hidden part of the clan’s territory.

Hakuna will then keep watch and guard the sick bay while Otonashi is away in the midst of the fight patching up battered warriors. A small band of others may assist in guarding this area, but Hakuna takes it upon himself as his primary responsibility. Most of the time though, when life is calm and peace pervades, he roams around the clan territory and pays frequent visits to the sick bay to check on the patients and say hello.

He will occasionally assist Otonashi in gathering supplies for the sick or spending some time chatting with the patients as they recover. The way Hakuna looks at it, the sick and defenseless have enough to worry about already, so he at least wants them to have no worries regarding their safety. His mate Matata will often listen to his thoughts and worries and try to ensure that he doesn’t work himself too hard.
