Mint was examining one of the strangest plants she had ever seen--some kind of flytrap, except it ate small birds as well, and sometimes even Fae (of course it naturally grew near the Wyrmwound, like every other nasty thing) when the bell rang to indicate that she had a new customer. She jumped and the plant snapped at her tail. Thankfully, she whisked it out of the way before it could get bitten. Who even knew what kind of diseases that thing carried, coming from the Wyrmwound as it did? "I'll be out in a minute," she called. With one parting glare at the fly-bird-Fae-trap, and a whispered admonishment not to eat anyone, she limped out of the back room and up to the desk. "What can I--oh!" Towering over her was a male Imperial, dressed in a blue robes and peering down at her with a stern expression. She knew who he was, of course, everyone knew who General Artemis was, but she had never actually seen him up close. He mostly managed things to do with war and the Lightweaver, and since the accident Mint was of no use as a soldier. "What can I get for you?" she asked, proud that she kept all but the slightest tremor out of her voice. Even knowing that she would never be forced into the Lightweaver's service--oh a great honor, she supposed, but one which, nevertheless, would result in having to kill other dragons--General Artemis was beyond intimidating. "I have a bonsai which has become inflicted with some peculiar disease," he rumbled. "Could you come and take a look?" "Of course!" she said, though she usually did not do house calls. Closing the shop was as simple as hanging up a sign in the window, and then she flew after him to his house. Flying always was much easier than walking. Taking care of the bonsai was a simple enough thing, it turned out that it was one of the varieties that enjoyed shadow more than light and General Artemis had been leaving it out in the sun too much. The next week, he returned. "You don't go out very often, do you?" he asked, shifting from paw to paw as though embarrassed, not that that was possible. "No," Mint said. "Not anymore. I get all my plants sent to me, now." "Would you like to?" the Imperial said, and then immediately looked as though he wanted to take it back, but had too much pride to do so. "Are you asking me out on a date?" Mint asked disbelievingly. She was likely the least desirable female in a clan that prided itself on its service to the Lightweaver. "Only if you want it to be one," Artemis said, and she couldn't think of him as 'General' anymore. "Not yet," Mint said finally. "I hardly know you. But if you want to go walking in the forest, just... as friends, maybe, then... why not?"

History(added by weretiger5411): Mint was found on the outskirts of the Hewn City with a male imperial by her side, both unconscious and the imperial injured. Brightsoul, the one who found her with Sucra and Wildclaw, brought the two back to his clan to treat them. Mint was the first to come to and shocked by the new surroundings. Once reassured she was in a friendly clan to them, she helped with the healing of the imperial who was Artemis. Artemis finally came to after a couple days of rest and treating of wounds with confusion on his face. When the two were questioned further, it was revealed that they did not know how they ended up where they were found and did not remember the name of their clan. When artemis was well enough, he set out with Ripjaw and Brightsoul to help look for there old clan. Mint stayed behind and eventually famiralized herself with the clan. Ivette brought up the idea and the other dragons agreed that mint should stay with them if Artemis couldn't find there old clan since Mint was getting along fine with most of them. When Artemis returned, he gave the news that he was not able to find there old clan, and proposed the idea to stay with brightsoul's clan til they could find there old clan. Mint agreed to the idea, and since she has served as the go to dragon for herbs and identification of plants.
