Naryal | Quartermaster, Clan Elder
"What are you doing in my hoard!?"
Naryal is the incessantly agitated quartermaster of the clan. His natural impulse to organize and sort things makes him very efficient at categorizing the hoard and doing regular inventory. No one removes anything from it without his knowledge, as they would rather not anger the already grumpy pearlcatcher. His biggest pet peeve is finding rodents in the hoard; he's constantly chasing Soroush's ragamouse and glossy duskrat out, as well as wild rodents.
He took the Clan's first Night of the Nocturne as an opportunity to acquire some ...security for the hoard. Any dragon foolish enough to steal from him will receive a nasty surprise when they realize some of the items throughout the hoard are guard mimics.
He surprised the rest of the clan when he began showing a much kinder and gentler side of himself to Gaoithe. Some of them thought they were dreaming when he began courting her.
"Crim is a hoarder and we are her enablers, yet Pinkerton still gives us stuff. I'm surprised that miserable oaf hasn't given up yet."
Winora: "Have you found those laser heads for me yet?"
Naryal: "I'm working on it! For Windsinger's sake, could you quit nagging me?"
If Naryal was a human, he'd be one of those old guys that stands on his porch and yells, "Get off my lawn!"
