Morpheus drifts through the world when most others are asleep. While he cannot enter dreams as Meilinoe can, he has the strange ability to see into the minds of sleeping dragons, watching their dreams without participating. He often divines portents from these dreams, finding strange meanings of significance both miniscule and enormous, and which frequently come to pass. He may not yet be able to influence the content of such dreams, but he watches Meilinoe carefully, and with practice it seems within his grasp
