Biography
Ice Priest
Born the first day of the Crystalline Gala '16 in durandal (#99784) clan, joined Clan Diamond Dust 1/24/16

The flight ambassadors (priestesses) of the clan were responsible for advising clan leaders on issues related to her homeland and greeting visitors from clans living there. The role of the priest was not to be a liaison to visitors and other clans. Instead, the priest would serve as a representative for the permanent clan members, bringing their issues to clan leadership and ensuring that their needs were met. Now that the clan was so large, this function was thought to be necessary to make sure no issues slipped through the cracks.
Renamed during Crystalline Gala '20 so there weren't two Glaciers in the clan

Permanent Ice Clan Members: 36 (As of 5/20/17)
As an Ice clan, it should be no surprise that Ice flight dragons overwhelmingly dominated any other one type of dragon. Some did come from neighboring clans, but as the clan leaders eased up breeding restrictions in the clan, some offspring did decide to stay and become permanent clan members.

Glacier the Wildclaw, so-called because there was a Tundra named Glacier also living in the clan, came from a neighboring Ice clan durandal (#99784). He was selected from many applicants to be the clan's Priest. By staying in Ice, he thought he'd be able to go back and visit his family from time to time, but the clan up and moved to Light, so he didn't get to see them as nearly as often as he'd like. His dad ended up going to serve one of the deities directly, although his mother still lived with the clan in the Beacon of the Radiant Eye. He was the last born of that pairing and the only one of his siblings not serving a deity directly.

Although Wynter, the clan's Ice Priestess, was intended as a mate for him, once Gaia told the clan leaders she did not want to be mates with Flint, Wynter stepped in and advised she too had no interest in the dragon intended to be her mate, regardless of his feelings in the matter. Glacier, for his part, was probably rather relieved, although he knew better than to express that out loud. He simply went back to his duties as an Ice priest, which were very time consuming.
Considering that the clan was an Ice clan and the clan leaders, both Ice themselves, should know the concerns and needs of their own kind, Glacier didn't expect that he would be as busy as he was. But, as the clan had more Ice dragons than any other type, he found himself constantly dealing with minor squabbles and (to him) ridiculous requests. The clan leaders simply smiled at him the one time he dared to complain and said simply, "Better you than us."
