Ashtariel

Shimmering light of Ashtaareen, goddess of the Luminous Realm, imbued within a descendant of Samateus. Bound to keep him from destroying the world around him, learning and watching life for mortals, as a mortal.
Never far from Samateus or Megatronus, Ashtariel, an angel born to mortals, his true face far more nightmarish than many may imagine. LeonLocke has been instrumental in keeping his seals intact, the power-infused relics gathered from the massive Eels within the Sea of a Thousand Currents only able to hold and resist so much, even in numbers and often needing to be replaced over time.
Ashtariel does not speak, however he has been heard making insectoid chittering sounds when sleeping, and eats in private, never allowing anyone, save for Samateus or LeonLocke, to see him maskless. The very air around him shimmers, and the light he exudes often generates strange wisps of cloud, condensed and free-moving light energy seeping through the seals from the pulsing light upon his hide, cracks where Ashtariels physical body has come apart at the seams, leaking and forming clouds around him that crackle with energy of brilliant colour.

(Great, I'm actually getting my mojo back, and it's on side-characters. Bleh. At least I'm figuring out what I'm doing with this damned lair. 9/4/2016)
