When she rose to power, Myrtenaster really did have the best intentions. She wanted to breathe happiness into the callous residents of The Southern Ice Fields, and what better way to do that than hosting extravagant events? Gala's were arranged, festivals were planned, but as attendance for her carefully planned icebreakers continued to be paltry, Myrtenaster's rage grew. Mandatory summons to her parties only served to anger her subjects. When the punishment for skipping out grew from a fine to imprisonment, the dragons she governed decided to turn the tables. They banded together to overthrow their queen, imprisoning her in chains deep in the crevasse's of her homeland. Ironically, she had never seen her people as happy as the day she was locked away. |
