I’m not born of the wind
I am born from the shadow
 		For years I did not know
But now I see it so clearly
These eyes they are not me
For a long time, Zephyros was a vagabond. He spent a large amount of his time trying to understand the voices that seemed to talk to him. For a long time he ignored them. He did simple tradework to keep his belly full, and was overall a pleasant mirror to get along with. He enjoyed the surprised looks on dragon’s faces when he was kind and quiet, and credited his Wind heritage to those features.
When he met Bijou, he wasn’t sure what to do. At first she seemed crazy, she even threatened to kill him when he made a comment about her green eyes, but eventually it started to make sense. She said she was Plague, and for a long time the voices had told him he was not a Wind dragon, but a Shadow dragon. When he stumbled upon the image of purple eyes in one of his reflections, he knew they were right. He knew it was the truth.
