Piina is the oldest and biggest of the three brothers. They were orphaned soon after birth and grew up in wilderness without the protection or teaching of other dragons. Because of this, Piina has no Charge as she never knew about it and thus felt no need to have one.

When encountering other dragons for the first time, Piina learned he was treated differently. Both of his brothers were called as 'males' and he was 'a female'. The siblings had no idea what this meant.
The dragons, a small, wandering clan of snappers, tried to teach the young dragons their ways. Piina, however, disliked the way she was treated. She was forced to do things like other 'females' did and wasn't able to behave like his brothers.
Piina, originally born as a female, never felt like he was meant to be one. His brothers never questioned his feelings about his gender, so Piina still kept his position as a leader of the trio. The snappers, however, were quite shocked about this and soon decided the siblings were 'hopeless' and 'old enough to take care of themselves' and allowed the siblings to continue their endless journey.

When Piina and his brothers encountered Viima and her clan, Piina fell in love with the clan's oracle, Kuutamo. Piina's love is the reason why The Horrific brothers decided to settle down. Kuutamo, however, is not aware of Piina's feelings. Piina does his best to become an important friend to Kuutamo and slowly make her to fall in love with him.
As part of this, Piina and his brothers try to become 'full dragons' and are planning to go to the Search together.
