Biography

Uh-oh, looks like this frozen nooble wandered a little too far from her lair (148597, Pyra), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the urge to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her home instead, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here.

Owners I've Had:

They told her she'd get lost. She didn't listen. Tak just wanted to explore the territory! What could possibly go wrong? She even brought her friend Tiz, just in case! But, of course, everything went wrong...

Takquel is a peculiar sort of dragon. Since she was a hatchling, she was constantly wandering away from the nest. She's always had a thirst for new experiences and the sort of wanderlust that all great explorers seem to have.

Her parents, Icebreez and Ioivissa, might have shook their heads at their daughter's mischief-making, but they let her do as she pleased nonetheless. She would often disappear for days, and return to the clan's territory with trinkets and tales of the strange and unusual places she had explored. Of course, she never strayed too far from her clan's territory in case of emergency.

Once she grew up, Tak decided to satisfy her wanderlust once and for all. She bid her mother and father farewell and left for a grand adventure. It's her hope to visit each of the different lands in Sornieth, and to meet many different dragons and learn all about them before she returns home.

A long way from home. The scar of the Ashfall Waste was a colorful landscape of molten beauty. Here she found a friendly warrior clan that were more than willing to give her food and shelter for as long as she liked.

Tak soon moved on to the Twisting Crescendo. She loved the swirling winds and tempestuous storms, and despite the turmoil in the clan she was visiting, she was happy here. For a time, anyway.

On a particularly stormy day, Tak was flung from the edge of the Crescendo and back out into Sornieth, landing with a thud on a particularly spongy patch of earth. When she gathered herself enough to look around, she found that all of the sand and "vegetation" in the area was a deep, blood red and the air hung low with thick, muggy yellow clouds. Sticking her tongue out in disgust and then immediately regretting it for the taste that met her maw, Tak realized she was in the Abiding Boneyard. She didn't stay long enough to meet any new dragons; this place was simply horrible.

She next came to a place of bright lights everywhere, ruins of history filling the place, she chose to stay for a short while, finding one of the many tundras pretty funny to watch work. she saw the leader ramble to her lower ranked, a tundra talking to a guardian! and the tundra the alpha! Tak sighed, shrugging, yet was shocked to learn she was the first spiral here. she then grinned, enjoying this, before readying to leave. before Tak did thought, she chose to get a bit stronger

Takquel then ended up in a large dense forest which belonged to a nature clan, all dragons in this clan were kind to Tak, there were other travelers and even made some close friends with Aniya, another spiral. Once staying in this lair for a few weeks and learning what she could about nature and many other things (Thanks to a lot of the many other dragons having interests in many different things) she thought it was time to leave this kind lair and head off to somewhere new.

Dragonhome described in three words:
Dry
Flat
Dusty
There was neither brook nor stream to be found, and few clouds to obscure the sun. Though it didn't have the same blazing heat she had heard of from those who had been in the Shifting Expanse, it was still relentless. The nights were cooler, and would have been better to travel in, except the dust storms that could creep up on you unheard and leave you lost and abrazed. At least in daytime, they were visible.
An old, old earth clan eventually found her and took pity on her, letting her stay with them for a few days to regain her strength. Turns out, any water in Dragonhome was underground - some brooks less than a meter deep, others roaring rivers tracing the bottom of Greatwyrm's Breach. She thanked the clan for their hospitality, then travelled onwards.

She than returned to a light lair she knew before, chosing to once again train up a bit, enjoying the sun rich places once more.
