A dragoness whose straight-forward and hostile personality led to her being ostracized at a young age, Charlotte made the choice to leave the home she was born to and find a new place to settle down, away from those that hated her. Fate had another place for her though, and it was mere days before she ran across the dragon who would become her mate, WinterBlade. He was a wildclaw like her, true, but he quickly showed his intelligence when her begged Charlotte to travel with him, only until she found a place to settle down, then he would continue on his way and leave her to peace. WinterBlade was smart for their kind, but completely hopeless at hunting, protecting himself, or even finding shelter. This became very clear to Charlotte as a blooming strangler fell from the trees above them onto WinterBlade's tail and he reacted by screaming and running to hide behind her.
Charlotte wanted a place of her own yes... but not necessarily alone. She agreed to travel with him and time passed. After a year or two of wandering, Charlotte realized her feeling towards him had changed, deepened. Fearless, she admitted her feelings to him soon after and, after a few days, they restarted their travels, this time as mates.
They happened upon Toyland eventually and things soon fell into place. The two claimed a cave on the outskirts of the clan's territory as their own, and Charlotte naturally fell into place as a Warrior, highly trained and specialized at defeating the tough creatures that roam the Harpies Roost. Her Warrior partner was decided to be a spiral named Royal, who very quickly learned not to get in her way. WinterBlade ended up not taking a job in the clan, instead staying near their cave and caring for their many hatchlings. While there are still many problems that arise here because of Charlotte's attitude, things have fallen into a balance here, and neither of the two have any plans to change that.
