Starchild thinks he's better than you and wants you to know it....So a stereotypical pearlcatcher, pretty much. He's quick to underestimate others and is so often surprised by competence displayed by anyone but himself you'd think he'd have learned something by now, but nope.

Like many of her brethren who have taken up the role of Tengu collecting, the years of fighting her own kind and being forced to strike down loved ones gone mad were slowly chipping away at her own sanity. Though it was shameful and she knows she'd never be welcomed back to live among her own kind she eventually abandoned her life for a fresh start and let her old clan assume she'd become a tengu herself.

If he's ever one-upped he becomes borderline-obsessed with asserting himself as better than whoever has defeated him and has developed many of his skills out of pure spite(even though the smart just get tired of his resilience and let him win, but if you've challenged him to knock him down a peg you're probably just as stubborn).
Minevacurrently has him trying to figure out how Fleur's magic works and how to disable it or outmaneuver her, but he mostly does it because she has --typically-- developed a one-sided rivalry with her and he desperately needs to one-up her before her ego shatters.A |

She went to Starchild, her only friend outside of the Talonok, and they have made a life doing mercenary work. Hopefully, Clan Ulalume will be a more permanent home but she's not holding her breath. Spends any free time reliving her mistakes and wishing she'd made better choices.
