Some might call Belissama the clan's pest control, others tend to think that Beli is the pest that needs to be controlled. Mellona fell in love with Beli the moment she crashed into the clan. While most dragons think of Belissama as an annoyingly cheerful dragon, she serves a very important job in the clan. As a voracious insect eater, Belissama was always catching and eating any troublesome bugs that ate the crops or ticks that plagued the flocks. After a while, the clan began to view Beli as their resident pest exterminator. She has taken to this job with a gusto that is characteristic of her kind, and day in and day out you can spot a twirling yellow spiral weaving among the plants and snacking on any bugs in her way. Recently, she has been working with Samael and Parkunas to develop more efficient ways of dealing with pests.

Bellus always keeps a very close eye on Beli, because even though Mellona and Belissama are mates, Bellus is worried that Beli might break Mellona's heart. He grudgingly admits that Beli makes Mellona blush and giggle like a hatchling with their first crush, which is nice, but he still remains wary. Beli remains blissfully unaware of Bellus' disapproval, since she herself is head over tail in love with Mellona. Even though she is mated to the clan matriarch, Belissama doesn't have a leadership role in the clan, since the three current leaders were the main founders of the clan, and Beli is a bit of a newcomer. She wouldn't want to be in charge of anything either, she much prefers snacking on bugs and talking Mellona's ear off about her philosophical discoveries.
