Roseate is the younger sibling of Arcane priest Rosenthal, despite being of different elemental alignments. Technically half-sisters, they share the same mother who laid their eggs in different Flights' territories. Roseate is much like the other in many ways, soft-spoken and with practical taste rather than luxurious. However, she is more sociable and less abrasive even despite her Lightning birth... she was never a stereotypical employee anyway.

Coincidentally enough, she was a tea maker in her own clan - though her specialty is in "yerba mate", a regionally unique beverage brewed similarly to tea. Its leaves come from trees from the Shrieking Wilds, but a connoisseur imported many of them to the more arid Shifting Expanse and began cultivating them in a controlled greenhouse environment. Roseate was one of many who followed in their footsteps of the craft.

However, the trees became stricken with disease. Roseate was sent to the Viridian Labyrinth to collect new seeds to replace them, and stopped by the inn at Sideris-on-Riverbank where she ran into her estranged sister. Eventually, Roseate sent the seeds back to the Lightning clan with a message that she was staying behind in Sideris. Now she processes yerba mate in Rhune's tea shop and tries to make up for lost time with Rosenthal.
