Bogmagic

Originally an ice flight dignitary from a wealthy clan from the Snowsquall Tundra, Bogmagic lost her way in the viridian labyrinth after delivering information to a few of it’s native clans. She wandered for days in the sweltering, mazelike forest, becoming more and more delusional with malnourishment until she eventually stumbled through a wall of thick, tall grass into the middle of a large, peaceful clearing, with a small green swamp in the middle of it. The melodic chirping of the birds echoing in her tired ears, the scorching sun that seemed almost unnaturally bright, and the desperate gurgling of her empty stomach overwhelmed the skydancer and she collapsed into the swamp, and, feeling the warm, thick water wash over her

She died.

A few weeks later, she woke up on the edge of the stinking swamp with her senses restored, a full belly, and most interestingly, a different complexion. Her once white fur and feathers had become a smudged black ,and the leather of her wings was covered with swirls of color that resembled the swamp’s oily surface. Her belly was a dirty off-green and the stone adorning her forehead was the same. She stared at her warped reflection in the swamp’s surface for what felt like hours. The memories of her past life were few and foggy, and she decided to begin life again with a new identity.

Her new name was Bogmagic, describing the rebirthing power of the magical swamp that revived her, and she was the new ruler of this glade.
