They called him Acheron.

From the time he was born, there seemed to be a hunger in him. Such a thing was not unusual for a Plagueborn dragon, but even still... he gives his fellows a distinct sense of uneasiness. That feeling is quickly dispelled if anyone ever speaks to him, however. He has a way of charming with his words, convincing you that everything is normal and that he is a perfect gentleman-- and truthfully, he is. For the most part. But at times, his hunger is all-encompassing.

Acheron hungers for a great many things, but above all, he desires power. It is the reason why he spends his time in conversations with other dragons; it is the reason why he locks himself away in the dead of night to pore over old tomes. It is the reason why his hunger is accompanied by a deep thirst; it is the reason why his scales glisten red.
