Gluttian

Gluttian (glut-tee-n)

Born by himself in a nest about two weeks after Sinfarie, Gluttian was given over to the ridgeback females much like his older sister was, to be cared for and raised by them instead. Keres was excluded from the duty of raising him due to her still raising Sinfarie at the time, and after Murrings craftily convinced Bloodwing to take care of him, he was left to be brought up by the most colorful ridgeback.

This posed a bit of a problem as Bloodwing proved to be a terrible mother at the time. Bloodwing barely took care of herself let alone another creature, instead leaving members of the clan and servants to do so for her. So when any issue came around with taking care of the hatchling she called on another to do so for her. As such he grew up being taken care of by many dragons, often times being neglected to be fed, going hungry for long periods and being forced to scavenge for anything he could find around the lair.

There was however one dragon that did come to tend to him often, his older sibling Lustrian. During this time Lustrian had begone to fancy Bloodwing, and wanted to have a go at her, but under the watchful eyes of Nelfarian he had to do so stealthily. So he decided to use helping her raise the hatchling as a means of getting closer. Despite his intentions however he did treat his younger brother very well, letting him enjoy and experience much of the lavishing lifestyle he himself did, while being very nice and kind to him, partly to look better to Bloodwing and open her to the idea of having children with him, and partly because he did love his little sibling.

During this time Gluttian found himself greatly enjoying partaking any of the many foods and cuisines that Lustrian allowed him to dine on, or any of the things Bloodwing would bring back from hunting / fishing with the ridgeback group. Caring little for the taste, it seems he was more interested in the experience of eating it than anything, being extremely excited whenever he had the opportunity to eat something he had yet to experience.

Nowadays he spends most of his time laying around near Lustrian or Bloodwings homes, gorging himself on any morsel he can find, and spending time with many of the other clan members. Because so many of them had at one point taken care of him, most of the clan has come to view him like a hungry pudgy step child, feeding him whatever extra food they have, much to his delight.
