Biography
The Librarian
Attar manages the Clan Library and can usually be found either reading in said library or off scolding Lace for leaving so many books and scrolls lying around and never returning any. He's very quiet, but not particularly shy. Despite his quiet nature, there are few dragons that would describe Attar as patient or even nice. He may not ever raise his voice, but there is almost no hesitation in cutting off or shutting down anyone, for whatever reason, with cold merciless or otherwise passive aggressive remarks.
He met Lace at a book stall in some bazaar. Lace had just bought a grimoire that Attar had been hunting down for upwards of 6 months. His heart stopped and fell into an abyss before Attar got enough of a hold on himself to approach Lace. He told him he'd been looking for that book for quite a while and offered Lace a small fortune for it. Much more than what Lace paid if the shopkeeper's regretful expression was anything to go by. Lace refused, saying he wanted to learn the book's teachings to better protect his friends. Attar explained in a forced calm voice that it was part of a set that he had all the other pieces of. Lace didn't understand why it was necessary to complete the set. Attar Very Briefly considered murdering Lace, but he wasn't a fighter and a quick glance at Lace's companions quelled that impulse immediately.
In a now desperate, panicked, but still just barely composed tone, Attar said he'd do or give anything for it. He had begun to lower his voice as the two garnered an increasing amount of attention from people that would love to take something of seemingly high value. Lace was silent for a moment, staring blankly at Attar.
"If you come with me, you can have it when I'm done reading it."
Attar was thrown off for a moment, he reeeeeeaaaaaaallly didn't want to associate with anyone, especially the sole thing currently keeping him from his prize. But he Did just say he'd do anything for the book. After a moment of internal conflict, Attar begrudgingly accepted. However, he conditioned that if he went with them then he'd need to bring all his scrolls and books along, as it would be pointless if they were not all together. Lace didn't see a problem with that and turned to his 2 companions. Despite Kesaura and Lionel's very unimpressed, very "this guy is an absolute brat" expressions, they agreed to help with the move.

- Attar made no effort to interact with the rest of the people at Lace's lair, just waited, perpetually annoyed, with his belongings until Lace was done with the book.
- No one, including Attar, was excited when Lace said he should stay with them even after he gets the book. Attar refused without hesitation. For some reason, Lace was adamant and even held the book hostage until he agreed.
- The most frequent library visitors are Lace, Suave, Zila, and Asthen
- After the collapse of the clan's first lair, and subsequent loss of the first library, Attar's health drastically declined as he felt he had failed his charge.
- Suave managed to convince Attar that he had saved the library as all the books and scroll were safe.
- Attar built the second library in retribution of the destruction of the first
