Biography
Lore by KraalofBhaga
Tehuti was the sole survivor of a five-egg nest infected with a severe plague in his home clan. Nurtured religiously as a hatchling, he began to learn how to pray and sacrifice to the Gods of Sornieth, just as his parents did to promote his wellness. In particular he became devoted to the Gladekeeper, because of her ever-raging battle against her twin, the Plaguebringer, and her synonymity with healing and resurrection. He became a particularly adept healer thanks to his early sickness, and the closeness with the clan's healer that his ailments afforded him. In his own practice, Tehuti often opts to use natural medicines gathered from herbs, minerals, animals, and fossilized remains.
However, Tehuti soon found that the availabilities for such materials were limited in the arid mountains of Dragonhome, his birthplace. And, while the Viridian Labrynth may initially have been a good relocation option, Tehuti found himself shunned by many of the more secretive, experienced medics in Nature Flight. So, he made do with the next best option, and traveled across Sornieth to the Windswept Plateau's Zephyr Steppes.
It was here that Tehuti decided to take up practice as a witchdoctor. Combining religious obeisance to the Gladekeeper with the medicinal experience he developed in Dragonhome, he quickly gained renown as one of the best--and most peculiar--healers in Wind Flight. Although on a typical day he tends only to send patients out with paper packets of crushed herbs or ground medicines, he may on occasion don a ceremonial headdress and wing adornments to perform an exorcism or another such ceremony of import.
