Madoka has wanted to train in magic since she was young, playing with minor spells she'd learned from her grandparent's scrolls in the snowfields of her homeland. One day, she finally got an opportunity to study abroad under a powerful sorceress named Nerys, and she took it. She met Xuebing on her first day of training, and they've had a special connection ever since. She's a more adventurous student than her spell partner, Ein, and isn't afraid to jump right into spells and enchantments, even those she may not be skilled enough to handle. She's charming and a real go-getter, but she's a bit timid and tends to blather when she's nervous.
