EVERYWHERE. bc it "looks nice" or smth trite nd stupid like that. everybody's like ok buddy we get it, u own 50 different pairs of earrings, pls put them back in th box i have already stabbed myself in th foot twice w/ these sht crystals. - why would he even agree to live in th plague pits. they're so grody. maybe he's secretly Putrid Scum who enjoys filth nd misery. thinks its hilarious. is in it for th aesthetic. - probably doesn't do any actual work (for the clan. his own projects are completely fine). would have minions if he could get away with it. - cannot get away with it on account of striga is firmly Against Minions nd thinks they show Bad Form. lady u already showed bad form letting this pompous wheeze into ur lair. kick him out nd send him on his way to become a stab-happy bellydancer bc we all know that that's where this is headed anyways. - i lied. he does in fact get away with it. - arcane dragon who does Th Magic. unfortunately does not always do Th Magic for the most legal things and wound up on th run from the Dragon Cops along w/ witchy because they hecked smth up. probably blew up a bunch of things and killed someone. or were doing Evil Science god i dont know. - likes to think he's th one in charge but rlly morag is the one holding the reigns here. she could kick his butt if she wanted but mostly stays quiet abt it bc hes a good front/distraction/minion, even if he doesnt realize it. theres like. levels of minion here. vespers a minion but doesnt know it, nd then hes got nino as kind of a stand-in minion but that doesn't really count. - that being said he is still p devious nd intelligent nd he does know what he's doing. i think he suspects morag's intentions but also chooses to do nothing because the thing about a truce like this is that if one person brings it up then the whole thing falls to pieces. after a certain point he stopped confiding most of his new research in her bc she went off to do her own thing nd he didn't want to hand over his sht to someone who wasn't equally invested nd might just use it to stab him in th back. - pls note i still have no idea as to the actual content of this research but i feel like it might have smth to do w/ th combination of plague nd arcane workings. geez ok how's that for a Fun Time. - v. snide nd v. sneaky and has a superiority complex like you would not believe - a lot of th time just. straight-up does not listen to people when they're talking at him. (which has led to him making any number of foolish mistakes nd oversights bc he missed out on crucial information but them's th breaks). has that whole "did i ask you to speak" vibe. - makes nino run errands for him into arcane territory. th psywurm comes with to act as the shopping list nd make sure nino doesn't forget anything important. - easily bribed w/ shiny things but may or may not decide to backstab you afterwards depending on how many threats u handed in w/ th jewelry
