Aier neither dislikes nor likes his mate, Sienna. She is the leader of his clan and he is only loyal to the group. Given this, when asked to be her mate Aier knew his answer right away. He would serve her and give her progeny in order to spread the influence of their bloodline to surrounding clans.

However, despite his apathy Aier is a kind dragon. He is interested in the arts and history. He studies the Tidelord's history, pouring over books and documents during his free time. He has a lot of free time. Sienna is uninterested in his say over the affairs of the clan, and he does not have the simple job of a scavenger or hunter. Whatever the case, Aier readily stands by Sienna, knowing that without him, she would be nothing.

Even as a progeny, Aier was interested in the arts and history. He would spend most of his time away from his family studying. This angered them, as a loyal warrior family to the clan they expected him to be the same way. Unfortunately, they never got their wish of Aier becoming a brave warrior.

Aier's family had been one of the few left in the clan that did not already have some of Sienna's blood running through it. This made him a practical choice for a mate on top of his quiet personality. So when it was time for him to partner up with Sienna, he did so quietly.

Once they were together, Sienna demand that Aier begin to wear a hood on his neck as well as pierce his wings. He was adorned with bronze ringlets and given a red hood to wear. Both were the signs of royalty within the clan, the rings representing his rank and the red hood representing his status as a male who was not single.
