It was only a matter of time before one of the progeny of Sinann found its way to the growing group of Gladeveins spirits inhabiting Clan Radix. Like so many of them already, Ahearn is not wholly dragon. But whereas many of the Gladeveins dragons are descended from Selkies, Ahearn is a descendant of Kelpies. He's a darker and perhaps more dangerous creature, but the marshy waters of the Gladeveins are his home all the same.

He spent his early days huddled against Seascann's fluff, and it wasn't long before he grew fluff of his own. Despite his tundra appearance, however, he's more fond of meat and fish for his diet. He generally finds enough to eat in the Gladeveins so he doesn't go wandering and find an unlucky dragon for a meal instead.

He's very protective of the Gladeveins and his fellow galdeveinian spirit-dragons, perhaps some residue of his mother's Charge imprinted onto him.
