 Perhaps he was once apart of the Thunder nation, but through some means or another Strident ended up becoming apart of the Plague lands and embracing it as his true home. and by more twists of fate he has managed to get it inside his sick mind that he is destined to start the next great plague --- chosen by the plague bringer herself. honestly? he's very close to it, as he has the knowledge to dabble in dangerous potion territories, the wit to keep his sanity all the while and the skills to fight and/or escape from anybody who tries to stop him. truly, Strident is a man of great capabilities.

during his travels to find all the ingredients for his new disease, he has managed to gather a few odd people into joining his cause --- namely a reckless sister, a lunatic, a mute sadistic puppeteer and an old priestess --- and while he won't ever say it aloud, he cares about them all deeply and considers them family.
