MEGIDDO, also known affectionately (by me lol) as Megs, is the abandoned mage prince of Avaria. A child borne of violence and hurt, Megiddo was ostracised from birth, kept in the annex of the Everclast castle. His only friend was Cassis, who visited him often and played with him, naive and oblivious of her half-brother's scandalous birth. In his isolation, he trained himself in the lost arts of magick, knowledge permitted only to the mage families. He furthered his own isolation when he dabbled in Necromancy, blasphemous magicks that offended the old gods. Forever obsessed with the idea of ruling the kingdom and restoring honor to his name, he became hellbent on winning Cassis' affection and hand in marriage, convinced that a crown would right his wrongful birth. Oblivious to his power-hungry ways, Cassis merely saw a tortured soul who needed a friend, and despite being forbidden from even seeing the *******, she remaind a steadfast companion. Is all hope lost for Megiddo? Though the entire kingdom believes so, Cassis is not entirely convinced.
