Biography
Ahzou slowly closed her eyes and took a deep breath of the heavy incense in the air of the ritual chamber deep in the heart of the Temple of the Light.
One dragon was tapping a slow beat on a small drum in the corner of the chamber, but the sun hadn't yet returned from the Depths of the Shadow so there was still time before the ritual would start.
Today was the midsummer solstice, and she had been one of the few that the holy temple magics had chosen to dance and worship and sing throughout the whole day, from sunrise to sunset. She had already been painted in accordance with the patterns that had been in use since the Sundering, and now she was here.
Even though the dark sky was fully visible, she could already feel the powerful magic stirring in the stones around them. Despite herself, Ahzou grinned as she headed to her spot. This was going to be amazing.
