Kiru is a dragon of expenaive tastes, though you wouldn't guess by the simplicity of his garb. He prefers to keep his treasures hoared away, safe from any who might take a fancy to them.

His companion is a King Parda he has named Chirp, because of the sounds it makes when Kiru happens to find the perfect spot on his belly! Chirp happened upon Kiru's egg, prior to it hatching, and having mistaken it for one of its own somehow, proceeded to hatch it as its own. Chirp was more than a little surprised when out popped Kiru! Using the sunlight off his tail bangle, Chirp lured him to the nearby Ice clan in hopes they would raise him. When the clan leader found the coatl shivering in the cold, he took him (and his similarly colored friend) in to get warm and fed.

Kiru enjoys all things shiny! Since hatching, he has managed to stock pile hoards of Jade stone and Unicorn Dust. Chirp isn't too fond of the dust, seeing as the last time Kiru got some out he was coughing up glitter strewn hairballs after every cleaning session!

A distracted dragon in his own right, Kiru and Chrip still manage to spend hours chirping and humming back and forth. This goes on deep into the night, rousing complaints from more than one of their clan members. No one is even sure they understand one another, but instead enjoy the sounds of their own voices too much.
