JOB DESCRIPTION
Cord is in charge of running the clan's marketplace; when someone wants to set up a new stall, they come to him first. He ensures that everything is ran legitimately, and smoothly, allowing for Roava's marketplace to slowly become a burgeoning center for the buying and selling of quality goods.

PERSONALITY
A generally shy dragon, Cord is quite quiet a times, and easily spooked. He has a good head for numbers, and can easily answer questions relating to such things, before becoming quiet again. His laugh is rarely heard, but when it is, it's quite a beautiful thing.

EARLY LIFE
Cord's first memories are of trees, all around, high above, green everywhere. Next came the sea, a rocking boat, days and weeks spent below board. His father was a pirate, and he had decided to bring Cord with him aboard The Crimson Jewel - had stolen Cord, as the Nocturne would find out much later. Life aboard a pirate ship was not particularly enjoyable for Cord, made a hundred time's worse by the ship's captain, Aranea. Ara took an interest in him from the start, always happy to have more hands onboard, and while Laron protected his son from her as much as he could, there was only so much he could - or would - do. Cord remembers long days of Aranea attempting to teach him to swordfight, switching between encouraging and infuriated when he proved to be terrible. The day she gave up on him ever being a fighter was a bright spot in his adolescence, though this by no means meant that her attentions toward him decreased; they only became, occasionally, more snarky, biting remarks about what he could've been if only he wasn't so weak. Eventually, Cord found his place aboard the ship, becoming the treasurer, keeping track of their takes during raids, what they sold, what they traded, and all such related things. While life aboard the Jewel was still too loud, too anxiety-inducing, too everything, having a purpose made things slightly more bearable. wip

CURRENT
Life in Clan Roava is more than Cord ever could've hoped for. With a family and a mate that he loves deeply, and who love him right back, and a job that he excels at, he doesn't know that life could get much better.
