"Ahh, the smell of home: 2-Phenylethanol."
While Ribbon does make the incense that allows Shi-Long to converse with the Arcanist (purportedly), Ribbon's real passion is in capturing the hatchling years of dragons' psyches through smell. Her perfumes have been said to smell "like nostalgia", especially to sensitive Tundras. Perfume-making itself involves exacting chemistry, and Ribbon's approach to capturing childhood whimsy to some is "clinical" but at least it's effective.

Mate: Cherry and Butterscotch. She and Butterscotch both like to reminisce about the past; while Ribbon's approach is scientific, Butterscotch tries more to capture the "feel" of being a hatchling. Ribbon's relationship with Cherry is a bit cooler, but she appreciates that presentation is important in perfumes too; often she'll add his dyes to her products to make them stand out.
