Biography
He'd never heard such a lovely performance. The minstrel of the clan fell silent, ending her rousing song of battle and conquest. The piece before hand had been a gentle sea chantey, remindIng him of the waves on a beach at midnight. When she stepped away he was surprised.
"Won't you sing one more, to finish it?" He'd never heard a minstrel not sing in sets of three. He thought it was common to finish on a love song.
"I don't sing those songs." Glade replied "Two is enough." And she walked away.
He couldn't understand why she would respond so coldly, until another dragon walked past.
"No point, boyo, she don't believe in love."

The next morning Forestfury was outside Glade's lair with a picnic lunch and a smile. He kept at her until she agreed to breakfast with him on the dunes.
The day after he left flowers at her doorstep.
The third day he was meant to leave, to continue his journey. He stayed away all day, keeping scarce. Just as Glade was sighing in unconscious disappointment, there he was, suggesting a walk to the sea cliffs, to watch the sun set.
Forestfury continued this way for two weeks. Eventually, Glade began to seek him out on her own. After a few months they were inseparable. The whole time he never spoke a word about her disbelief in love. He never asked her to sing love songs. He only spent time with her, hoping. What had been a challenge became a reward on its own. A year passed before he even hinted, and then it was to ask her to be his forever mate, and build a lair together.
She asked for a day to think, and his poor dragon heart broke a bit, but he obliged. He attended her weekly performance that night, expecting it to be the last time he heard her sing. After all, it wasn't truly the clan that was home now. It was Glade herself.
He sat through two songs, then moved to leave. Before he could, he heard it. An old old love song, in Glade's lovely voice.
They've been together since, and their lair is full of song.
