Biography

When Oakar was young, she dreamed of finding her parents and exploring the world with them. As she grew, her longing to find her heritage grew stronger within each year. Finally, when she was in her adolescent years, she left the forest she called home and set off to find her family.
As the years went by, she made a large sum of friends and an equal amount of enemies. But she never found her parents.
Then one day, a little fae hatchling flew by in a flurry of excitement, chirping something about a book with all the dragons ever to be born written in it. Oakar knew that this was her chance to find her parents.
There was a long line of dragons waiting for their turn to explore the book. Oakar waited. And waited. When her turn finally came, she searched and searched, until she finally found the pair of dragons that were her's. They were never named.
The young dragon set off again, searching and searching, until she came upon a little village, hidden in the mountains. When she talked with a little old Pearlcatcher, she was pointed to the graveyard. Her heart sank.
When she approached the Unnamed dragon section, she became horrified when she found the headstone saying: May Our Spirits Be Forever.
Brokenhearted, her dream shattered, the reptile flew away.
She went back to that forest and sulked in a tree. It became like that for a while, now. She would blankly hunt a little and then go back to her tree. She was slowly starving herself.
And then, just when she thought she couldn't take the grief anymore, a human came. Nobody knew what the human real name was. She was only known as Dragonlover.
The girl was kind to Oakar. Soon, they became good friends. Oakar was the only one that the girl told her real name to.
As the forest grew, the girl grew. Soon, she was old enough to climb on Oakar's back. (Not that Oakar let her.) She traveled monthly to festivals. And then, one day, she came back with exciting news. She explained to her dragon friend that the Gladekeeper wanted to see her.
For the first time in years, Oakar left the forest. The Gladekeeper was really important, and it excited her to know that she was noticed!
Her visit with the Gladekeeper went well. She was told that she had permission to expand her forest territory, and take in other dragons to live with her! Oakar knew, that someday, she would become a mother. And she hoped that her mate would be one of the dragons taken to her lair.
And so it was. The first dragon she met was Zakar. Fortunately for her, Zakar was too big for a normal fae, no matter what his information page said. His parents were also Unnamed. And, like Oakar, his parents also found their death.
Love entwined them together. Zakar and Oakar bonded quite nicely, and later on, their first hatchlings, Markar and Charkar, were born. Many children followed, and are yet to come.
She, Dragonlover, and Zakar made their lair a powerful one. Battling in the Coliseum was easy for Oakar. Her Coliseum teammates were always reliable and trustworthy.
Love for her family, the human girl, and for the residents in her lair grew. The Gladekeeper was proud to have such fine dragons living in The Viridian Labyrinth. Oakar became strong and powerful, but also kind and loving.
Oakar is now a Great-Great-Grandparent. She even adopted a young Guardian, who she named Colby. Many of her children had children, and they had children. They are all proud to have such a parent.
