Biography

Once upon a time, there lived a baby fae with no name and her familiar who hid in the
Sundial Terrance. One day, she tried looking for her parents who were absent the day of her hatching. She never found them... However she did find another fae. An elder male dressed in a ripped up hood and cape named Hare.

Hare took the baby in and named her Rabbit. One day, while she slept, he was killed by some mirrors who were rabid with crazed hunger. Thanks to her coloring and a spell that took away her patterns she was well hidden and the shadows hid her. But when she woke to see his missing body, she cried until she could no longer shed a tear or sulk. Hare had taught Rabbit many things after all, and sulking was not one of them. Even with her heavy heart Rabbit lifted herself to her feet and traveled to find a temporary home.
Years later Rabbit served as the head to the small clan of Sonder and beside her ruled a guardian named Ode. The clan was small, the only adults being herself, Ode, Seashell, Raindance, and a mirror named Aina who came from the Plague Bringer's domain. Rabbit took in many lings from an auction house to raise as her own until the eggs she and Ode had hatched. These lings later left, like a pearl catcher named RinRin and a deft spiral dragon who left to serve the Light Weaver. It was sad, but her clan was thriving. But Rabbit was also a little cruel.

Rabbit chose dragons to dedicate her time too, and some she often never spoke too unless it was small talk. One example being the infamous Lightshade. Rabbit did not do this out of spite, she was
a lady who didn't want to seem cruel, but smaller circles meant less disappearances to her. It would take a later turn for the worse after Ode's fateful decision to leave the clan for his services to the Light Weaver, leaving Rabbit with her remaining son Rize.

After years of ruling, Rabbit settled with a tundra named Nightshade who had charmed her and kept her down days wishing for Ode's wisdom to a minimal. He was a charmer and Rabbit fell hard for the dragon who served as her crutch and an equal in the arena and clan politics. This caused some tension with Rize, who was not happy over his mother's decision to be courted by NightShade. Rabbit loves her son, he is (as ashamed as she is to admit it) her favorite and the last of her first nest. The fae is often seen talking about policies with Nightshade, visions with Seashell and Starless, or with her other children Philo and Rize. But lately she has been on edge... A shadow looms over the Mirrorlight Promenade and this omen was not missed by the clan's seers.

Rabbit was forced into submission, to kneel, to leaver her home with her injured clan. Everyone was crestfallen, her children hunched and close together, and her veteran members either weeping or silently mourning over the land lost. She sighed, limping near Nightshade who had served as her guard during the fight with a clan of Ridgebacks. Their mocking laughs made her hiss and her eyes narrowed with such poison it would force a plague dragon to bow. The sensitive fae was there, but now it was hidden by cold stares and the cold shoulder. Rabbit ran, limping akwardly, ahead of her clan and spoke with a hiss.

"Today is the day we leave the light, as the creatures who took our home demand. However they will not break my family, my work, or my clan... Today we hide among the trees... No stranger will be allowed to enter the main camp from here on out. We will be harder on patrols and we will work harder to keep each other safe. I hope my word is a s clear as crystal. Because that will be how the clan works now."

The clan of Sonder stood silent at the speech, agreeing with the new rules while the hatchlings stood near the nursery helpers in fear of the cold fae before them. Her eyes sparkled in hidden delight. And the clan of Sonder fell into the forest, hidden from light and covered by shade with the wind whispering in the trees.

"Rabbit? Mother?" Luia raced through the clan with her brothers in tow, the flowers around her neck loosing a few petals. "Mother? Momma?" Rabbit stood from her branch and dropped down, her coat falling behind her. "Yes, Luia?" The younger fae squeaked in a happy manner and looked at Rabbit with eyes that reminded her of the father. "Mom! Okay so, I know your not too fond of Othello and Rirari but... Can I talk to them? Please? I am begging mom, they look so...Lonely."

'Do I really come across as cold...? Rabbit tilted her head, her fins raising and left ear twitching. "..I don't dislike them, I'm just a little indifferent at times. This clan is so large, it's just hard to find attachments in a sea of faces." Luia looked at Rabbit in a way that made the elder dragon miss having a small, spacious clan. But, her daughter needed an answer. That answer could also help tighten the clan together like a lock and key. "Go ahead darling, just don't stay over there too long. The rough housers in the clan usually hang out there." Luia nodded, smiling in her eyes and fled, her brothers staying behind and looking at their mother.

"You alright mom?" Philo asked, tilting his head. Rabbit nodded closing her eyes. "You two go socialize... I need to discuss something with Guinevere." The loyal sons nodded and left, leaving the leader to wait on her head of guards.
