Arbor
Under our care, the land will thrive.
Keeper
Despite their initial assumption, Arbor was no spirit. He was a dragon, hatched to dragon parents among his dragon nestmates within a Nature clan's nest among the flooding Gladeveins. They pilgrimaged to the Behemoth, seeking to serve their goddess the Gladekeeper directly, however she required. He did not.

His family was appalled by the apparent disrespect the young dragon showed. To work for your deity was the highest honor, after all. But they were wrong; he did feel a pull to serve his Flight, it simply was not in that way.

He fled to the maze of the Shrieking Wilds and escaped his old clan, living a new, solitary life. The loneliness ached, but he felt compelled to wait. Something would happen in its own time. No matter how long he spent in the dark jungle, his bright fur never faded, and similarly, though he grew familiar with this life, he never grew accustomed to it.

He heard uncharacteristic, unintentional sounds, made by something that didn't mean to be conspicuous but did not know how to conceal itself. That meant an outsider.
