Zylen

Zylen is much older than his mate, Evie. He's world wise and world weary. He use to traverse Sornieth with many of his own kind, leaving barren, desolate wastes in their wake. He was vicious, powerful, with a reputation for cracking skulls and taking names. With this reputation came awed respect, and Zylen basked in his primal glory for a number of years.

He was fatefully mauled during an altercation with a small Emperor. Humiliated and disabled, Zylen was forced to remain at the border of the Sunbeam Ruins and Tangled Wood in a makeshift den for weeks upon unending weeks. There, he nursed himself to some semblance of health. Though he made attempts to rejoin the throngs of decay and destruction, his might and spirit were diminished.

He wandered alone until Evie met him in her own adventures. The small Fae was intrigued by the silent, cranky warlord. Zylen at first merely tolerated her companionship as convenience for his disability, but her personality grew on him.

Zylen is physically much stronger than Evie and has more stamina, but he moves sluggishly, and has a short temper. They work well together, with his stamina aiding Evie in battle despite his physical handicap, and her patience soothing his fury.

Within the clan, Zylen keeps to himself. The hatchlings love his stories, and he tolerates the younger dragons under the watchful eye of Evie. His talks among the hatchlings are likely the only time you'll hear him speaking in a normal tone of voice for an extended period of time.

Evie's sap nest is large enough to accommodate the Mirror.
