Pearlhide

Nearly as soon as Schel darted back up into the sky, You feel a wing settle on your shoulder. You startle, only able to see a white ribboned, purple wing tip easily in your vision. "No need to be afraid darling," a low voice chuckled, accompanied by a soft voice, "do you mind turning around? Introductions will be easier for both of us if we can see each other". You do as you are instructed, and gasp, flinging up an arm to protect yourself from the sudden light glinting of of the dragons hide, you can hardly make out any coloring or any features at all in the bright light. "Pardon me, one moment." The same soft voice said as wings were lowered, now the light was still bright, but not nearly as blinding as before. "There, thats better. Theres a reason I'm called Pearlhide, I shine like a pearl, or so some say" she shot an endearing smirk into the recesses of the crumbling towers, there was no response, but she laughed all the same before turning back to you.

" I would assume you know that we are here a band of scholars, some that seek knowledge and fact, others experience. I am the, unofficial mother figure to all newcomers, be they infants, adults, or somewhere inbetween. Once you have passed Schel and Sarin, I am here to make you feel comfortable and aid in your transition, should you so choose to follow one of our paths of knowledge. You should know, that you are always able to leave, no one is forcing you to remain, but there are times, that should things become too rowdy around here at your hand, we will ask you to leave. That simple. I doubt that will be a problem with you though darling."

She smiled at you again, and turned, you now noticed that her glimmering light came from pearl-like jewlery as well as her hide. A soft gurgling noise came from floating orbs beside her. "Oh hush, theyre fine. Theyre not like us yet but that doesnt mean they cant ever be!" She turns back to you, "Are you coming?" you hurry to catch up as she walks on, continuing to converse with that odd little orb.
